The Skills Service aims to provide inspiration and raise aspirations for young people's future careers while also helping to develop a rich and relevant talent pool that meets the skills needs of employers and potential employers in the area.
You can support the work of The Skills Service in many different ways, from supporting activities in local schools to exhibiting at our annual Careers Show to engaging your staff in skills workshops.
Each year we organise a huge skills and careers exhibition for young people aged 14-24 to showcase the wide range of career opportunities on offer. The 2019 event will take place on Thursday 20th June at the East of England Arena.
We are looking for local business people to become Skills Champions and pledge support to help us improve the aspirations and economic awareness of young people through our events.
