The Skills Service provides a free, impartial, brokerage service, matching the requirements of businesses with the skill aspirations of learners and facilitating the delivery of work-related learning activities. We can also help with training for your existing staff, allowing you to maximise the benefits of a highly skilled team to your business.
You can support the work of The Skills Service in many different ways, from supporting activities in local schools to exhibiting at our annual Careers Show to engaging your staff in skills workshops.
Each year we organise a huge skills and careers exhibition for young people aged 14-24 to showcase the wide range of career opportunities on offer. The 2017 event will take place on Friday 23rd June at the East of England Showground.
We are looking for local business people to become Skills Champions and pledge support to help us improve the aspirations and economic awareness of young people through our events.
