The Inspiration Vision Statement released by the Government in 2013 called for an improvement in the quality of careers information and stressed the need to provide more inspiration for young people and more real-life contact with the world of work. Our annual skills and careers event aims to do just that by showcasing the wide range of career opportunities on offer, both locally and beyond.
The East of England Careers Show will take place on Friday 15th July 2016 at the East of England Showground.
Plans are hotting up for this year’s event with new exhibitors being confirmed on a daily basis. Exhibitors will be divided into ‘Experience Zones’ this year – view the latest exhibitor list or read the latest newsletter. You can also download a PDF version of the map/guide that will be given out on the day.
Many schools have already booked to bring cohorts of students along but, if you haven’t done so yet, please download the booking form and return to .
You can also download a copy of the event poster which will be circulated to all schools over the coming weeks.
Last year, we hosted our annual event at The Peterborough School. Around 2000 students and young people enjoyed the sunshine and the vibrant atmosphere at the Careers Festival, seeking inspiration for their futures from over 120 exhibitors. Watch the video below to experience the event:
