Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

The primary responsibilities of this job are to pick, pack and despatch both internal and external customer orders in line with delivery / production due dates and packing standards as required by the customer.

• Work to current warehouse and distribution objectives.

• Ensure all orders are despatched to customer specification and within the stated lead-times.

• Ensure that all deliveries (Goods In) and returns are dealt within the agreed timeframe.

• Actively assist in maintaining stock accuracy and perform daily cycle counts.

• Recommend process improvements leading to improved quality of products or working practices.

• Using the Warehouse Management System and Microsoft Excel to perform daily activities

• Maintain safe working practices and ensure good housekeeping (6S).

• Flexibility to carry out various duties throughout the warehouse.

• Maintain and adhere to a Quality Management System which meets the requirements of ISO.

 Basic Qualifications

GCSE or equivalent 3 years’ experience in a Warehouse role

Fork Truck license would be an advantage

Computer literate with good understanding of Microsoft Excel

Experience in Warehouse Management System would be an advantage.
