Ixion Introduction to Construction Course

We are pleased to confirm that Ixion are planning to deliver in Peterborough starting on Monday 16th September a construction-focused programme, Introduction to Construction.  This is a ten day programme from Monday 16th to Friday 27th September and will include delivery of an accredited qualification, the Level 1 Award in Construction, plus health and safety training to enable learners to gain their CSCS green card, asbestos awareness training, plus free-issue PPE.  The CSCS card is fully-funded, including access to a Pearson Vue Test Centre to take the test.

A second delivery in Peterborough will be a five day programme starting on Monday 23rd September, through to Friday 27th  will deliver an accredited qualification, the Level 1 Award in Principles of Customer Service.

Ixion, part of the Shaw Trust, is an OFSTED grade 1 training provider offering a wide range of apprenticeship and short course training programmes.  Ixion is also the region’s prime contract holder for the ESF-funded Skills Support for the Unemployed programme.

To be eligible, participants must be aged 16+ and unemployed/economically inactive.  They should also have lived within the EU for at least three years.
