Businesses regularly voice their concern about the work-readiness of young people coming out of education at all levels. To help address this concern, we provide a brokerage service for businesses, education and training providers, co-ordinating work-related learning activities that aim to improve the aspirations and economic awareness of young people and develop their employability skills in line with local business needs.
We deliver the national Enterprise Adviser Network programme on behalf of The Careers & Enterprise Company. The aim of the Network is to match volunteers from the world of work with schools to support employer engagement.
Using a simple audit too, we work with school staff to review current Careers Education, Information and Guidance (CEIAG) activities to help ensure that all schools have an effective careers strategy in place, in line with the Gatsby Benchmarks. We then support schools with the implementation of their activity plans.

Developing Employability Skills
These are just some of the activities that we can deliver, but we are open to innovative approaches and can tailor activities to meet individual needs. Each education provider works with us in a slightly different way and we tailor our offer to meet specific requirements in the way that the school or college prefer to work.
