Future Voices – opportunity with EDP newspaper

The search has begun for the next set of young journalists and photographers for Future Voices.  Future Voices is a section of the EDP newspaper written by young people. They write about a variety of matters that are important in their lives. You can see the kinds of things they’ve written about here: www.edp24.co.uk/news/education/future-voices.

EDP is looking for a new editorial team of young people to plan, write and edit articles about their lives, views and growing up in Norfolk. They also need photographers to capture the right images to go with our articles. This is a wonderful experience and a chance for them to develop their journalistic skills.

The editorial team is made up of young journalists and photographers – aged 13-18. The team meets once a month at the EDP offices in Norwich to plan what will go in each edition.

Together the team will plan, write and edit 12 editions of Future Voices over the course of a year. All the completed articles and photos will appear on the EDP website, and many will also be printed in the paper.

Apply by Sunday, 22 May.
