Dersingham Parish Council and the Dersingham Village Centre Association are working with The Skills Service in hosting the first ‘Dersingham Works’ event at St Nicholas Church Hall in Manor Road on Tuesday 21st June. Improved access to services is a key objective in the plans to replace the Church Hall with a new Village Centre.
The event starts with a Business Breakfast for local employers, sponsored by Swains International, from 7:30am. This will be an excellent opportunity for networking, sharing experience and finding out what is happening locally. Key Speakers are:
Later, from 9:00am, the Employer Marketplace opens. Members of the public are invited to come along to meet local employers and training providers and get information on career opportunities available in the area.

Sue Payne, Parish Council Chairman said “This event will help fulfil our ambition to provide information and advice to local residents, particularly our young people, so they can achieve their full potential in employment and other aspects of their lives.”
Dersingham Village Centre Association Chairman, David Collingham, added “This is the inaugural Dersingham Works event, which we hope will pave the way for future local business and employment events held in support of the proposed new Village Centre project.”
