Employability Sessions

With the help of volunteer professionals from Manpower, NEACO and AIM Apprenticeships three sessions were provided for year 12 students at Ormiston Bushfield Academy. The students were given interactive presentations on key techniques and skills in CV writing, creating a personal statement and tips for the interview process.

The 80 students were given the presentations over three separate sessions so that each area could be covered in detail for the best results and for any questions to be asked on the particular skills being covered.

Its a fantastic opportunity for the students to gain some important skills that could really help in finding them the right career path or university placement with all three of the professionals involved came away with a positive feeling that they have contributed to proving a useful tool for the students, who also enjoyed the sessions and keenly engaged which was great to see.
