The annual careers and FE fair at Queen Katherine Academy today was a roaring success. Children from Years 9 and 10 as well as post 16 students were greeted by a packed out exhibitors hall, from local and global employers to universities and apprenticeship providers.
Each year group had 45 minutes in turn to speak to the exhibitors and gain valuable knowledge and guidance for their possible future paths after school.
The many employers and FE settings included The Army, RAF, Royal Navy, Peterborough Regional College, New College Stamford, 3aaa, Posh Futsal, AIM, Vivacity, BGL Group, Perkins, University Peterborough, Peterborough College, JM Builders, Princebuild and more.
All the students were engaged and positive whilst with the exhibitors with lots of handouts being given free flowing conversations. The fair was a chance for the year 9 students to start having a think about their future as they were currently doing their options and for post 16 students they were able to actively engage with employers.
