We visited Marshlands High in West Walton near Wisbech to run the Activote careers attitude survey with the year 11 students. Through a series of questions the students get to vote anonymously (using a remote control) on how they feel about their future life after school and what career and FE options they have.
The survey is great tool not only for the students to get an understanding of how they feel about their own future but also for the school to see where they can possibly provide further resource. The survey is then conducted when the students move up to the next year and the results can be compared to see how attitudes have changed.
A great session and all the students were engaged and judging by the results actively got involved.
