The Mission Possible Careers Show is the biggest and most exciting skills and careers event in the East of England and is now in its fifth year. Taking place on Friday 23rd June at the East of England Arena, the event is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before with well over 200 confirmed exhibitors and more than 3,500 school groups pre-booked to attend.
Exhibitors from all sectors will be split into ‘Experience Zones’ ranging from ‘Creative’ to ‘Business’ to ‘Engineering, Construction and Manufacturing’. Employers, colleges and training organisations will have interactive ‘Have a Go’ activities, providing a unique chance to try out different skills and get a feel for what it would be like to work in their industry. Some of the exhibitors on the day will be advertising current job and apprenticeship vacancies.
Other features include: students and experts demonstrating vocational skills through ‘Skills Competition Showcases’; the opportunity to meet ‘Skills Champions’ – young people who have excelled in technical skills; a drop-in ‘CV Bootcamp’ with business professionals providing useful tips on improving CVs and succeeding at interviews; plus music, dance and drama acts performing throughout the day to create a fun and engaging atmosphere.
