During the week before half term we organised a couple of virtual meetings for schools and despite some technical issues there were benefits in getting together to share ideas and to learn about new initiatives.

As promised I have put together information about the various agenda items for you to review at your leisure:-

Support from the National Careers Service

Michelle Brown from Futures (who deliver the National Careers Service locally) sent me through the following information:-

Youth Employment UK and Virtual Work Experience

The Skills Service are working with Youth Employment UK on supporting young people in Peterborough to reduce the incidence of unemployment and this work will be even more important once we exit the current crisis. I will keep you informed on developments in relation to the work on virtual work experience.
